In a little over a month we have assembled 24 boxes. Eleven of those boxes were sent on the request of a sweet friend who wanted to support a mom/family that they personally knew grieving the loss of their baby.

I remember seeing this statistic before my loss and thinking that it seemed like pregnancy and infant loss was more common than I realized. Still, you think (hope) it is a statistic that you aren’t going to become part of... until you do. Being a NICU nurse I’m exposed to infant loss more than others, but going through it myself and starting this organization has truly made me realize just how common pregnancy and infant loss is. It has given our mission even more of a purpose. We truly hope to impact as many moms as possible with Finding Fireflies and we continue to be grateful for your support in helping us do so!
