Giving Tuesday

Happy first day of December!

Today is giving Tuesday! If you are looking to give this holiday season, I ask you to consider donating to Finding Fireflies: Gifts from Graham.

Mother's of infant loss grieve heavily. They grieve all of the aspirations they had for the life of their baby/s, all of the plans they had for them, the chance to see them celebrating birthdays, the chance to watch them change and grow. They grieve not getting to know the person they would become, what they would look like as they grew, how their personality would evolve, what achievements they would have throughout their life. They grieve not being able to hug and kiss them. If they have other children, they grieve the loss of their sibling relationship. If they have no other children, they grieve the loss of experiencing being a first time mom, and that baby will always be be considered their firstborn. They grieve when they look into their baby's nursery, hold their blanket, put away clothes that they won't be wearing. Dad's and siblings grieve with them for all of these reasons and more.

Through our packages we aspire to help bring some comfort, help with coping, and, most of all, help to honor their baby's memory as they navigate through this overwhelming grief. Even the SMALLEST donation will help us continue to reach as many moms and families as possible. Your donation WILL make a difference and help bring some light to a deeply hurting mother and family.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
